ABOUT NYKIL RASHAD

 

As a child NyKil never quite bought into the Christian ideology pressed heavily upon him by the elder matriarchs of his family. His inquiring mind posed questions that were so difficult for the leaders of the church to logically answer that, instead of giving him answers, he was silenced. In his desire to be obedient to the will of his elders, NyKil attempted to have faith in that which was, 
for him at least, unbelievable. But at 14 years of age, as NyKil stood before the church congregation reading a poem about life from his perspective, he was suddenly interrupted by a terrible uproar from the pastor who couldn't risk the faith of his followers being sullied by the thoughts of the young teen. In the aftermath of this spectacle many families, including his own left the church. This event would spark the beginning of the young man's journey leading to the discovery of self, the true essence of God, and the U-N-I-Verse.

In his mid twenties, NyKil's studying brought him to a newfound knowledge of self, beyond the manufactured HIS-story that THEY attempt to 
indoctrinate all of our minds with in the public school system. This brought with it the need to remove the slave brand of his european last name, Watkins. As the pieces of the puzzle came together, NyKil Rashad knew it was pertinent that he not only find the answers, but that he share them with all who would hear.

 

Determined to become enlightened and become a light in the dark to his people, NyKil Rashad abandoned the brand of mainstream music that is currently aiding in the tearing down of our people. He adopted practices to begin the decalcifying of his pineal gland and began his metamporphosis into an AWAKE spiritual being. 

 

NyKil has but one mission: to deprogram and reeducate his people who have been bound, abused, and broken, the melanated brothers and sisters of the world who have been lied to and cheated for far too long, and restore them to their rightful glory as the Kings and Queens they are.
